WrinkleBrain, Inc. Announces End-of-Life for WASH™
Due to circumstances outside our control, all support for WASH 2.x will end at 12:01 AM, September 1st, 2008. WASH is being replaced by our next generation WASH product, Semplice™ (Sem-pleece, Italian for simple) which has been on the market for well over a year now. Changes in the underlying transaction document IDs used to communicate with the Seller Central API servers are forcing the retirement of WASH which will not handle the new 64 bit IDs properly resulting in instability and inevitable data corruption. All customers with active support contracts must upgrade to our new Semplice™ platform. All existing agreements will be honored as Semplice™ is, in all but name, WASH 3.0.

Taken together, Semplice™ represents a dramatic improvement in usability coupled with the proven reliability of its predecessor WASH. Change, however, is always difficult and we regret the necessity of ending support for WASH but change is indeed necessary. Due to the growth of Amazon.com's platform WASH will cease to function sometime this fall, so we are forced to take these drastic measures. The end of WASH is upon us but the era of Semplice has already begun. More than twenty merchants from large to small have been using Semplice™ for more than a year to automate their Seller Central communications. Not only does Semplice continue WASH’s rock solid service, but improves upon several features. Several resellers and ecommerce sites have also begun using it as a cornerstone to extend Amazon.com integration to their merchant customer.
